100 YEAR CENTENARY
"VERY ROUGH, LONG AND SPLENDIDLY CHOSEN"
The opening day was on Thursday 6th June, 1912 and a crowd of approximately 100 people attended.
The Shire President, Mr George Desailly, drove the first ball and declared the links open.
The links were described as "Very rough, long and splendidly chosen".
